Student Care Helpers at Canossaville Children & Community Services

Canossaville Children and Community Services (CCCS) runs Canossaville Preschool, Canossaville Student Care and Canossian Child Development Unit in the Aljunied-MacPherson area. Their programmes cater to both mainstream students, as well as those with hearing loss, giving priority to the poorest living in the lower income neighbourhoods. 
CCCS is a Catholic social service agency, serving and impacting the lives of children and their families across their preschool and primary years, regardless of race, language or religion.

For all volunteering opportunities, interview and screening will still be conducted before the matching of volunteers to children.

Role:
Support the student care needs for Primary School children e.g. safety of children, assisting with activities and homework supervision
Commitment period: at least 3 months
Day/ time: At least once a week between Monday and Friday between 2pm to 6pm (due to MCCY restrictions of total numbers of volunteers allowed at centre due to COVID-19).
Duration per session: 4 hours
Skills required: No experience required
Minimum age of volunteers: 18 and above
