My Personal Compass is for all Catholics and anyone interested in formation and the foundation of ethics and moral theology
My Personal Compass is an annual course in morality meant for participants, Catholics or anyone, to understand and articulate the fundamentals of moral thinking with greater clarity. Participants will be exposed to basic principles in making moral decisions and the Catholic tradition of virtue ethics. At the end of the course, it is hoped that participants will leave with a more formed compass for making moral decisions in daily life.
The course is conducted by Fr David Garcia, O.P., who lectures at the Major Seminary and Catholic Theological Institute of Singapore in Moral Theology. He is a well-known speaker who has addressed a spectrum of issues affecting society ranging from family life, social justice, and bioethics.
