Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh? (Isaiah 58:7)

The vulnerable are at the heart of Caritas Singapore. These members of our social mission family dedicate their cause to providing homeless individuals and the rough sleepers in our community a safe environment to rest, addressing their underlying needs such as applying for financial assistance, seeking employment, and securing long-term housing.

The vulnerable members of society are the driving force behind the Caritas Singapore family’s mission. As Catholic social organisations, we are committed to helping homeless individuals and those who are sleeping rough in their community. Our member organisations understand the difficulties these people face and work tirelessly to provide them with a safe and supportive environment to rest and recover. In addition to offering temporary shelter, they also provides a range of services designed to address the underlying causes of homelessness. This includes helping individuals to apply for financial assistance, seeking employment, and securing long-term housing. By providing this comprehensive support, Caritas Singapore is working to break the cycle of homelessness and help those in need build brighter, more stable futures for themselves and their families. Through their unwavering commitment to serving the most vulnerable members of their community, Caritas Singapore is demonstrating the love and compassion of Christ in a very tangible way.
