Families should exercise their autonomy

Since society depends on the family, all the more the subsidiarity principle needs to be respected. Families should be able to perform tasks or make decisions independently if they are able to do so without intervention from the authorities. In fact, we should make sure that families have all the assistance they need to fulfil their responsibilities.
