About the Season of Creation
The Season of Creation is a time to renew our relationship with God, our Creator, and all creation through celebration, conversion, and commitment together. This season has a special significance for the Catholic Church as Pope Francis made it official in 2015.
Starting with the World Day of Prayer for Creation on 1 September and ending on 4 October with the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology, the Catholic church, celebrates the joy of the creation and at the same time encourages initiatives to raise awareness and to act in protecting the natural environment.
Join us this year, to celebrate, express our gratitude and to participate in nurturing and protect all that God, our Father, has entrusted to our care, for His glory, our good and the betterment of His Creation.
