Advanced technology, such as the Varian’s TrueBeam Radiotherapy System can treat a wide variety of tumours with high precision, and the latest PET-CT scanner.

Ancillary and Support Services

MAH offers a full suite of ancillary services, including a 24-hour urgent care centre, cardiovascular laboratory, endoscopy centre, health screening centre, diagnostic imaging, two rehabilitation centres for inpatients and outpatients, and a retail pharmacy.

Clinical Pastoral Care

Our CPC team provides spiritual and emotional care to patients and their family members in a clinical setting. Beyond religious support, spiritual care includes attending to existential and personal questions of meaning, purpose and belonging. This can be crucial for those who are dealing with illness or loss.  We serve people from all faith traditions, beliefs and cultural needs.

Community Outreach

The Mount Alvernia Outreach Team extends care to underserved communities through three pivotal initiatives. These include operating the Mount Alvernia Outreach Medical and Dental Clinics for disadvantaged individuals; offering hospital-based assistance to vulnerable transnational spouses; and supporting social service agencies through providing offsite healthcare services such as complimentary flu vaccinations and health screenings for their members.

Every year, Caritas Singapore assesses the needs of its member organisations to fund programmes that serve our brothers and sisters in need. Our grant allocation takes into consideration funding gaps for underserved needs, the social mission organisation’s funding priorities, and the effectiveness and measurable impact of the charity’s programmes and services. All grant distribution decisions are announced in our annual report.
